Exclusively Cats Veterinary Hospital is a reputable, feline-only practice in Waterford, MI. We are seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our multi-doctor team of feline practitioners as a part- or full-time associate. We pride ourselves on practicing the highest quality medicine while providing superb customer service and thorough client education. We have an active dentistry program that includes digital intraoral radiography and root canal therapy, digital radiography, and ultrasound on site. Our staff is also very important to us as many staff members have been with us for over a decade (some since the founding of ECats). We value our candor with each other, as well as the inclusive teaching/learning environment our hospital offers.

Our caseload allows us to provide a wide variety of services and we receive referrals from surrounding general practices. This often leads to seeing interesting cases along with the ability to perform I131 treatment. In addition to the equipment mentioned above, we also have ready access to electronic medical records, a dedicated surgery suite with full anesthesia monitoring capabilities including capnograph, Doppler, ECG and warming equipment, three exam rooms, an ICU style treatment area with 4 exam tables, and a wet table/sink.

Our ideal candidate would be an experienced feline practitioner, though more recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Our compliance rate with our current clientele is very high, in large part due to our veterinarians’ ability to communicate with our clients and staff. Thus, good communication skills are very important to us alongside teamwork.

Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work a part- or full-time schedule (up to four shifts per week and rotating Saturdays) with access to sign-on incentives (full time only) and comprehensive benefits including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with shared premiums
  • Practice-sponsored short-term disability and life insurance
  • 401(k) eligibility with employer match
  • Paid time-off for personal use and to attend continuing education
  • Annual continuing education allowance
  • Coverage in our AVMA PLIT policy
  • Reimbursement of all licensure and DEA fees
  • Reimbursement of professional membership dues

We are in Waterford, thirty-five miles northwest of Detroit. Aptly named, we have over 32 lakes and streams throughout!  We boast all the amenities of the big city with top-rated schools nearby and a strong sense of community.
