Troubleshooting Weighing Your Cat

Problem: My cat seems to have gained a bunch of weight

• Remember to tare the scale or subtract the carrier weight from your total.
• Make sure that there is only one cat in the carrier
• Make sure that you weigh or tare the carrier each time, in case there is an extra blanket, toy or other item in the carrier

Problem: My cat seems to have lost about half his body weight.

• Check to make sure that the scale's units are in pounds and not kilograms.
